Alanna is a sweet little girl who loves people and loves to cuddle. She is a little leary around strangers (probably because of her herding breed background), but a lovebug and will climb right into your lap and give you kisses once she gets to know you. We can see that she has some sort of herder in her for sure ,but other than that who really knows what mix she is (since sweetie pie is not a breed choice). She is a year and a month old and only weighs 36 pounds (as of 9/30/13) so is the perfect size, not too big and not too small. Alanna loves other dogs and gets along very nicely with the kitties in her foster home. She loves playing with them, but also understands that not all the kitties want to play with her. She is papertrained and housetrained with a doggy door. It took her less than 3 days to figure out how to use the doggy door, so she will probably learn about asking to go out very quickly as well. Alanna's adoption fee is $150 and includes her spay surgery, worming, at least two DA2PPV (Distemper/Parvo) vaccines, Bordatella (Kennel Cough) vaccine, and a microchip and it's registration. She has also been started on heartworm preventative and kept on Advantage for fleas.
